  1. It’s all about the earplugs. Buy a six pack of the good ones and hang in there: no one ever went to kita with colic.

  2. This too shall pass. Just when you think you can’t stand it one second longer he’ll stop that and go onto something new, like projectile vomiting. Ha ha, just kidding. You’ll all be fine.

The Germans swear by unsweetened fennel tea for tummy aches. Tastes like dirt but babies seem to like it.

  3. Fennel Tea is good. It is cheap and at Rossmann. There is also a suppository that can help. My midwife gave it to me. I will look up the name and send it to you.

  4. Switching into assvice mode:

You can get something at the pharmacy called Lefax, the same as Gas-X in the states. It dissolves the nasty gas bubbles.

Also, my nephew had really bad reflux when he was a baby and screamed all the time. Sometimes it’s not just gas.

  5. I looked and our midwife gave us Carum Carvi. It is not homeopathy, it is an herbal remedy. So perhaps even Sparky would approve and give it a try. Wink!

Give me a call if you need a good vent.

  6. I don’t know if they have them here but Milicon drops (Gas drops) worked so wonderful for my little dude. Well, he did then end up with having acid reflux so that was really the problem but Milicon is a wonderful product. And like motormouth said it could be dietary. Onion, dairy, tomato products. Try cutting those out one at a time and see if it helps.

Or sometimes kids are just colicky. Try a baby swing or baby carrier he might like that.

I do wish you luck though 🙂
